Itinerary

Our team welcomes you upon arrival at Cairo Airport before Passport Control, with a sign bearing your name. Help and assist to get your Visa, cross the Passport Control, Carrying your baggage and cross the Custom. Then you will be transferred by private A/C vehicle to your hotel. Check in at hotel. Meals: None

Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, our English guide and private vehicle with driver will pick you up at your hotel. On the western bank of the Nile of Cairo, visit the the three pyramids of Giza erected by Kheops, Khéphren and Mykerinos, are guarded by the mysterious Sphinx, the mythical statue with a lion's body and human head. The three pyramids and the Sphinx are considered the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world. (Optional: ride on camel or horseback). Then, Visit the huge necropolis of Saqqara, used as a cemetery for thousands of years. Return to your hotel at the end of your visit. (Optional: In the evening, Sound and Light show in Giza). After breakfast, early Morning, our tour guide and private A/C minibus will pick you up at your hotel travel to Alexandria by road for approximately three hours. Visit the Catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa, an ancient Roman necropolics, whose family tomb is a fine example of the fusion of art and architecture, Egyptian and Greco-Roman. You will continue with Pompeys Pillar, a column of granite 25 feet high built in honor of the Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to the starving inhabitants. Then visit the Roman Amphitheatre (Kom El Dikka), potentially the best preserved Roman site in Egypt. This site includes the ruins of Roman street and homes. Then you will visit the famous Library of Alexandria. Then Visit the Citadel, fort of Qayet Bay, built in the fifteenth century near the place of the famous lighthouse of Alexandria. And finally, the gardens of the Palace of Montazah, overlooking the sea and was built in 1892. Walk on the corniche to see the beach. Back to Cairo. Overnight at the hotel. Meals: Breakfast

Then direction of the Oasis El Fayoum .Upon arrival in Fayoum, visit Karanis which is the ruin of an old city. This city contains a number of monuments, dating from the Roman, Coptic and Early Islamic Organization. Then, enjoy the Qaroun Lake where you can see different types of birds. The Lake Qarunis considered to be the oldest natural lakes in the world, the third largest lake in Egypt. Next, Visits to the Pyramid of Hawara is an archaeological site of ancient Egypt. Amenemhat III was the last powerful ruler of the 12th dynasty, and the pyramid he built in Hawara. Visit of the Pyramid of Meidoum, located at the entrance of Fayoum and is called "the false pyramid" by the Arabs. Photography is allowed in most of the historical sites and museums in Egypt, but some of them have extra charges for taking in a camera. in some museums, like the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, and some historical sites, like the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, photography is prohibited and visitors are asked to leave their cameras at the reception before entering.

Most of the monuments, historical sites, and museums in Egypt open from 9 AM until 5 PM. Open-air historical sites, like the Pyramids of Giza, are open from 8 AM until sunset. Some museums have morning opening hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM evening opening hours, from 5 PM to 9 or 10 PM. During Ramadan, the holy month of the Islamic calendar, be aware that these hours will change significantly.

In less touristic places, relatively modest dress is recommended. Women should avoid very tight clothing, keep their shoulders and knees covered, and avoid very revealing necklines. Men should also avoid particularly revealing clothing. wearing shorts is not very common among Egyptians. Dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture. The metro in Cairo has separate cars for women that might be more comfortable, especially during rush hours when the cars can be very full.

In a restaurant, it is good to give between 5 and 10% tip directly to the waiter. For a small favor, like carrying luggage or parking a car, a few Egyptian pounds would be appropriate. Not more than five. Often times in Egypt you will find someone tending to the bathroom to keep it clean. Giving them one Egyptian pound is an appropriate amount. Tipping your tour guide and vehicle driver is completely optional but should be considered if you're provided with great service.
