Itinerary

Our team will welcome you upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, before checking the passports with a sign written your name. Assistance to take your Visa, pass the control of passports and customs. Then you will be transferred by private A/C air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel. Meals: None

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, our guide and private vehicle with driver will pick you up at your hotel. On the western bank of the Nile facing Cairo, visit the high plateau of Giza where the three pyramids erected by Kheops, Khéphren and Mykerinos, are guarded by the mysterious Sphinx, the mythical statue with a lion's body and human head. The three pyramids and the Sphinx are considered the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then, Visit the huge necropolis of Saqqara, used as a cemetery for thousands of years, and which still hides many secrets under the sand of the desert. The Pyramid at Degree of Saqqara is one of the oldest stone structures in the world. It was built during the third dynasty (about 2630 BC) for King Djoser, and its construction was supervised by his vizier Imhotep. Return to your hotel at the end of your visit. After breakfast, early Morning, our tour guide and private A/C minibus will pick you up at your hotel travel to Alexandria by road for approximately three hours. Visit the Catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa, an ancient Roman necropolics, whose family tomb is a fine example of the fusion of art and architecture, Egyptian and Greco-Roman. You will continue with Pompeys Pillar, a column of granite 25 feet high built in honor of the Emperor Diocletian, who freed the besieged city and brought food to the starving inhabitants. Then visit the Roman Amphitheatre (Kom El Dikka), potentially the best preserved Roman site in Egypt. This site includes the ruins of Roman street and homes. Then you will visit the famous Library of Alexandria. Then Visit the Citadel, fort of Qayet Bay, built in the fifteenth century near the place of the famous lighthouse of Alexandria. And finally, the gardens of the Palace of Montazah, overlooking the sea and was built in 1892. Walk on the corniche to see the beach. Back to Cairo. Overnight at the hotel.

Visit of the Citadel of Salah El Din, with in its enclosure the mosque of Mohamed Ali. The citadel was built on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD overlooking the whole city, it was a point of defense against the attacks of the crusaders. Salah El Din appointed to be the governor of Egypt after the death of the Sultan of Damascus, Noor-el-Din. Then visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, founded in 1857 by the French Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, which houses more than 250,000 pieces including the fabulous treasure of Tutankhamun discovered in 1920 by Howard Carter. The museum houses the largest and richest collection of pharaonic antiquities in the world over a period of five thousand years. And finally you will go to Souk Khan el Khalili, one of the most famous and oldest markets of the Middle East. Transfer to Giza train station to Luxor. Dinner & Overnight in train. And finally, visiting the Temple of Deir El-Bahari, was built for Hatshepsut (18th dynasty) to serve as a funerary temple as well as a sanctuary to the god Amon-Ra but also to the gods Anubis and Hathor. The check-in time in most hotels in Egypt is around midday, 12 or 1 PM.

Photography is allowed in most of the historical sites and museums in Egypt, but some of them have extra charges for taking in a camera. in some museums, like the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, and some historical sites, like the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, photography is prohibited and visitors are asked to leave their cameras at the reception before entering.

Most of the shops in Egypt open from around 10 AM and stay open until 10PM; however, many shops, cafes, and restaurants especially in major cities stay open much later and some facilities and shops are open 24 hours.

Most of the monuments, historical sites, and museums in Egypt open from 9 AM until 5 PM. Open-air historical sites, like the Pyramids of Giza, are open from 8 AM until sunset. Some museums have morning opening hours, from 9 AM to 4 PM evening opening hours, from 5 PM to 9 or 10 PM. During Ramadan, the holy month of the Islamic calendar, be aware that these hours will change significantly.

In less touristic places, relatively modest dress is recommended. Women should avoid very tight clothing, keep their shoulders and knees covered, and avoid very revealing necklines. Men should also avoid particularly revealing clothing. wearing shorts is not very common among Egyptians. Dressing with relative modesty is a way of respecting the local culture. The metro in Cairo has separate cars for women that might be more comfortable, especially during rush hours when the cars can be very full.

In a restaurant, it is good to give between 5 and 10% tip directly to the waiter. For a small favor, like carrying luggage or parking a car, a few Egyptian pounds would be appropriate. Not more than five. Often times in Egypt you will find someone tending to the bathroom to keep it clean. Giving them one Egyptian pound is an appropriate amount. Tipping your tour guide and vehicle driver is completely optional but should be considered if you're provided with great service. If you decide to tip feel free to give what you think your experience was worth.
